Hi. We are just a family in Clover SC that has discovered the magic of 3D printing — especially 3D printing Lithophanes! If you have never seen one, they appear to be magical. They look like a blob of plastic with just enough detail to tell what it is (as in “Oh, that is two people standing in front of something”). When light passes through it though, it becomes a detailed black and white photo!
Anyway, we started giving these as gifts and friends started asking us to print for them so we did that. As more people saw them, more people wanted them (because they make such thoughtful and amazing gifts) so we started selling a few. At Christmas, we were so busy printing nightlights for people that we were late on our own 3D printed gifts! That is when we decided to launch the website and see what happens.
Anyway, we live in the country near Clover SC. Myself, my wife, one child who is college age and one high school junior (both girls). We have two “doodle” puppies (one golden doodle and one mini schnauzer doodle), two cats and one pig. The pig actually came with the place, as in, you guys want to keep the pig? And we said yes. Life is a little crazy sometimes!
